East Yorkshire MP David Davis has been appointed to the new cabinet position of 'Brexit minister'.
The MP for Haltemprice and Howden takes on the title 'Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union.'
Mr Davis backed the Leave campaign in the run-up to the EU referendum.
Mr Davis initially came out in favour of Boris Johnson in the race for Conservative leadership, before switching his allegiance to Theresa May after Mr Johnson stood aside.
He has previously described the management of Brexit as 'the biggest issue over the coming years'.
